Mary Florence Doherty, trained and worked in London until 1998; gaining experience in general surgery, A&E, ITU and CCU both adult and paediatric.

She has a BSc (Hons) in children’s nursing and since joining Bayview Family Practice has attained Diplomas in Diabetes, Asthma and Cardiovascular disease and certificate in Spirometry.

She undertakes clinics in liaison with doctors to provide chronic disease management, heartwatch, diabetes and asthma. The role is wide and varied e.g. wound care, vaccinations, ear syringing and phlebotomy.
