Prescriptions can now be ordered online from Bayview Family Practice.
There is a €20 (increased May 1st 2022) charge for private prescriptions. There is no charge for valid Medical Card Holders (GMS) or Doctor visit Card Holders (DVC).
This is for your regular medications only. If you require medication you do not take regularly please make an appointment with your GP. Inappropriate or non regular medication requests will not be prescribed nor will they be sent to the pharmacy.
From 14/09/2022 there is also no charge for contraception medication for 17-35 year olds please make an appointment with your GP to facilitate this.
Please allow 72 hours before contacting your Pharmacy (not the GP surgery) to check if your prescription is ready.
If there is an issue with your prescription after this time please contact your surgery directly via telephone.
