It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Mary Florence Doherty, on Sunday January 4th 2026.

Mary Florence was an integral part of the Bayview Family Practice Team for 19 years, bringing dedication, warmth and kindness to everything she did. 

We extend our deepest condolences to Mary Florences family and friends and to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. 

As a mark of respect and to allow Mary Florences work colleagues attend her funeral, our Ballyshannon Surgery will be closed from 0945am until 2pm on Wednesday 7th of January. Any emergencies during this time will be dealt with by our Bundoran Surgery. Their number is 071 9841445.
